PDPA Information

The Professional Darts Players Association ‘PDPA’ initially formed in the early 1980’s and reconstituted under the auspices of the Sports Industries Federation in 2001, and was based in Leamington Spa. Relocation to Carlisle was in 2012.

The PDPA work in full partnership with the PDC 'Professional Darts Corporation' and the DRA 'Darts Regulation Authority' our governing body. The PDPA also joined the PPF 'Professional Players Federation' in 2014 which is the national organisation for all UK professional player associations and covers UK sports.

The PDPA changed its status from a players union to an association.

In 2023 the PDPA is changing its 'Articles of Association' and 'Constitution' to a 'New Articles' as one document, revised by Mills & Reeve to be adopted by special resolution and passed on (The PDPA AGM 20th November 2023)  These 'Articles' were submitted to its membership in October 2023 and will be lodged at Companies House following its adoption at the AGM.

The Code of Conduct will remain as a single document.
