ETA’s (Electronic Travel Authorisation’s) are now in force, please see below important information you will need to travel to the UK from EU and World.
An ETA is not required to return to the UK/Ireland if you are from UK/Ireland. to travel to the EU you will but a date has not yet been decided.
Who can get an ETA
- You will need an ETA NOW if you are travelling to the UK from outside of the EU
- You will need an ETA from the 2nd April 2025 if you are travelling from the EU to the UK, whenever this is ready to book.
- If you are travelling from the UK to the EU, this is currently on hold but will be in force from 2025/26
- An ETA last for 2 years or when your passport expires if sooner.
- It costs £10
- To apply for an ETA Get the UK ETA APP via App Store or Google Play
- You will need you passport, email access and your payment details.
- You will also need uploads or photo of your passport and the face of the applicant
