COLIN LLOYD came from behind on three occasions to defeat Denis Ovens 4-3 in the second round of the 2010 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship.
Ovens missed chances for a 3-1 lead in the fourth set and the Hertfordshire was made to regret them as Lloyd managed to come through and set up a third round clash against Ronnie Baxter or Gary Anderson.

Lloyd won the second with a 64 finish and then broke throw to win the third after Ovens missed two darts at doubles.

'I've had a rotten time at the World Championships over the last few years so I feel I am due a bit of luck.'

KIRK SHEPHERD 4-1 JOHN PART
(3-1, 1-3, 3-1, 3-1, 3-2)
KIRK SHEPHERD gained revenge for his defeat to John Part in the 2008 World Championship final with a 4-1 victory to send the number four seed out of the tournament.
Both players produced under-par performances but it was the 29th seed who prevailed to reach the third round of the competition.
The opening two legs were held with throw before Shepherd broke throw in the third by hitting double 16.
The 23-year-old then won the fourth leg by landing double four, with his opponent waiting on a two dart finish, to gain an early advantage.
Part hit back at the start of the second set winning the opening two legs. Shepherd managed to win the third leg but Part hit double 18 to level the match.
Shepherd won the first leg of the third set in amazing fashion by hitting double top, followed by the bullseye for 109 checkout.
The Birmingham based thrower then won the second leg after the Canadian was off-target with his attempt at double top.
Part won the third leg by hitting double 18 but Shepherd won the set in the fourth by landing double 16 to regain the lead.
Both players struggled to find a winning double at the start of the fourth set - missing nine darts apiece. But Shepherd managed to hit double one to win the leg.
Shepherd doubled his lead by winning the second leg but missed four darts for the set in the third leg which allowed Part to step in and hit double nine.
In the fourth leg Part missed a dart at bullseye and Shepherd hit double eight to increase his lead to 3-1.
The beginning of the fifth set saw Part find some form as he won the first leg with a 15-dart finish.
Shepherd levelled with a clinical 73 finish in the second leg, but the three-time world champion regained the lead with a 13 darter.
Shepherd held throw to win the fourth leg and registered his fourth maximum of the game at the start of the deciding leg.
That saw the 2008 runner-up get to a finish first but he missed a dart at double 18 for the match.
But Part was unable to keep the match as two chances at doubles went begging and Shepherd stepped up to the oche to hit double eight to end the contest.
"I'm happy to get through but it wasn't tidy," said Shepherd. "I grinded it out but I think there was maybe too much respect up there and that we were both thinking about the final. In the World Champinoship you have to play well to go far and I didn't play well at all. I can't just click my fingers and play well, it doesn't work like that - I need to go asway and practice and I'll do that and come back better."
"I'm surprised by the performance," said Part. "I felt very good after the first round but obviously I did something wrong and I need to look at it. I'm not going to throw excuses at it but that is not how I can play."
